Embracing Snacks: Apple and Flax Seed


It's Snack Time! What's a healthy snack during the pregnancy months?


Time: Under 5 minute prep + serve

Ingredients:

  • Your favorite kind apple (aka gala or pink lady)

  • A Spreadable butter that you enjoy (aka peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower butter)

  • Flax Seed + Chia Seed Mix

Instructions:

  • Core and Slice your apple into 6-8 wedges

  • Use an Ice Cream Scoop or Spoon to scoop a dollop of your desired butter onto the plate

  • Arrange the apples in a circle around the butter

  • Sprinkle the flax see + chia seed mix over your desired butter
